Man held for killing neighbour who intervened in a domestic dispute

Ghaziabad: A 37-year-old man, Rohit Sharma, was arrested by police for allegedly killing 28-year-old Raju Sharma, who had allegedly intervened in a fight between Rohit and his wife. Police identified the victim after finding his body with multiple injuries. Sandeep Sharma, a friend of the deceased, provided an audio clip revealing the fight and Raju's murder.Rohit confessed, stating he attacked Raju with a hammer in retaliation for helping his wife. He is charged under Section 302 (punishment for murder) of the Indian Penal Code, and the police recovered the murder weapon and Raju’s phone. TNN
