GHAZIABAD: A 25-year-old MBA graduate jumped in front of a train near DPS cut in Raj Nagar on Monday morning. The youth, Bharat Lal, had been suffering from depression for past several months due to unemployment. He belonged to Bhowapur village in Muradnagar and is survived by his wife and one-year-old daughter.
Police said, Lal left his home around 9am saying he was going for a job interview.
Later, he reached Raj Nagar and after parking his motorcycle near the tracks, he jumped in front of a speeding train. According to the eyewitnesses, the body was ripped into pieces after the accident.
On receiving the information, a police team soon reached there and called the youth’s father after finding his mobile phone from the spot.
Lal’s brother Satish, who runs a mobile phone shop on Meerut Road, said his brother was under stress as he could not find a job after completing his MBA course from HRIT Group of Institutions in 2017. He had got married three years ago when he was still studying and became father a year back.
Police found no suicide note from the spot. The body was handed over to the family after postmortem.
