GHAZIABAD: A fire broke out at the medical superintendent’s office of MMG district hospital on Tuesday. Two computers, printers and some files were gutted.

The hospital staff said the fire broke out around 7am when majority people were not around, but the smoke alerted the few present there. .

Doctors at the hospital said the fire took place due to a short circuit and no injuries were reported. The fire did not spread to the main hospital building or the OPD area.

“Some wooden furniture has also been damaged in the fire,” Dr Manoj Chaturvedi, CMS, MMG hospital, said.
