Khan locked the doors to keep them away but they threatened to shoot Kumar if she didn't open them.Once she complied, they forced Khan out of the car and took Rs 80,000 in cash along with her purse. One of the assailants also snatched a gold chain off Kumar’s neck before the gang fled the spot.“Immediately, I called the police and lodged a complaint with the Masuri police station,” Kumar added. An FIR has been registered against unknown persons under Section 309(4) (punishment for
robbery) of the BNS at the Masuri police station.“During the investigation, we faced some difficulties as all the CCTV cameras on the DME were not working due to a technical error. This has delayed the identification of the suspects. However, we have now identified the suspects, and teams have been formed to apprehend them,” said DCP (Rural) Vivek Yadav.
