Police said that the boy’s father caught the accused red-handed.

The Australian family had come to India to attend a marriage function in a farmhouse in Masuri.

According to the case FIR, “Around 11.45 pm on Thursday, the accused took the boy to the washroom of the farmhouse. The boy's father saw him taking the child and followed. As soon as he opened the washroom door, the father caught the accused with the boy.”

The man, whose marriage the family was attending, said, “My friend, who runs a digital marketing company in Australia, arrived in the country with his family on November 19.”

“I did not invite the accused to my marriage. A man, who came from Meerut to attend the function, brought the accused along since he was travelling alone. During the incident, the accused was drunk, and he tried to confuse people about what had happened after being caught red-handed,” he added.
