Wrestlers case: Court records statement

New Delhi: A Delhi court on Monday recorded the statement of a witness in an alleged sexual harassment case filed against the former chief of Wrestling Federation of India, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, by women wrestlers.The statement of prosecution witness, wrestling referee Narender, was recorded before the court of additional chief judicial magistrate Priyanka Rajpoot. Defence counsel Rajiv Mohan, appearing for Singh, cross-examined Narender. The court will record the statement of another witness, coach Jagbeer, on Oct 19. The witness stated that he was present during a photo session that took place in Lucknow in March 2022. During the session, Singh, as well as the wrestlers, were present, stated the referee in the court.tnn
