NEW DELHI: With Delhi recording its fourth consecutive "severe" air day on Sunday and no respite expected for at least next two days, this could be one of the longest such streaks in the capital. The previous such streaks lasted seven days each in November 2017 and 2016.

According to Air Quality Early Warning System for Delhi, which is the forecasting body under the Union ministry of earth sciences, the air quality is likely to remain in the severe category till November 8. The outlook for the subsequent six days is also for "severe" air.
