Waqf case: AAP's Amanatullah Khan sent to 4-day ACB custody

NEW DELHI: A special CBI court at Rouse Avenue sent AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan to four-day ACB custody for questioning in a corruption case related to alleged misappropriation of Waqf Board funds in Delhi.

The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) had arrested Khan on Friday.

The ACB had filed an FIR under Prevention of Corruption Act in the case in 2020.



Confirming the arrest, ACB chief Madhur Verma said the agency had placed Khan under arrest on basis of incriminating material and evidence against him apart from the recoveries made during searches on Friday.
