new delhi: a witness in the jessica lall murder case told the court on friday that vikas yadav, an accused and friend of prime accused manu sharma, had been a director of a manipur-based company. deposing as a prosecution witness, pratap malik, a ceo in a company, said he knew vikas yadav. "he was a director of the company and directors do not need to record their attendance in any register," malik told additional district and sessions judge r l chugh. another witness, ramesh chander, an administrative officer in hindustan coca cola limited, told court that both the co-accused alok khanna and amardeep singh gill had been working in the marketing division of the company.
