Two held for killing 18-year-old
NEW DELHI: Two men were arrested on Tuesday for their alleged involvement in the murder of an 18-year-old in west Delhi’s
Salauddin was stabbed 25 times on Saturday night when he allegedly asked one of the accused to share his girlfriend’s number. Shamshad (20) and Sunil Pal (19), residents of Nihal Vihar, fled after the attack.
Monu, Salauddin’s friend, said Pal had asked the victim to come to a DDA park. On reaching the park, they saw Pal and Shamshad sitting on a stone. A scuffle started after Salauddin asked Shamshad to share his girlfriend’s number and Shamshad attacked him with a knife.
Shamshad told cops that last year Salauddin stole his girlfriend’s number from his phone and started harassing her following which she had to change her number, said Vijay Kumar, DCP (west).
