Two get life for murder

NEW DELHI: A trial court has sentenced two men to rigorous imprisonment for life for killing a person and indulging in rioting with others after the victim demanded Rs 2,200 which the duo owed him.
ASJ R K Gauba also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on Ajay Malhotra and Rahul Kohli, after holding them guilty of murder and other offences under the IPC. The court relied upon the statement of two witnesses, Rajnish and Sanju, who had seen the accused attacking the victim, along with five juvenile associates, near Shadipur Metro station on March 18, 2007.tnn
