NEW DELHI: The special cell of Delhi Police on Friday made two additional arrests in connection with a high-profile drug case tied to Tushar Goyal.

The accused, identified as Ravinder Singh Basioya and Jackson Fernandes.
To date, 14 people have been apprehended as part of this ongoing investigation.
The drug trafficking caseIn what is being described as the largest drug seizure in Delhi and North India, the special cell of the Delhi Police confiscated Grade-A Colombian cocaine worth over Rs 6,500 crore in October.
Special Commissioner R P Upadhyay confirmed that the investigation and raids are still underway. The drugs were reportedly stockpiled at a warehouse in Mahipalpur and intended for distribution at four major concerts and music festivals in Delhi, Mumbai, and Goa, scheduled between November and March.
“The cocaine would have been couriered to users, concealed in cardboard boxes containing shirts,” Upadhyay explained.
Investigators have identified the cartel's leader, who is based in Dubai, and are working to apprehend and extradite him. The cartel has been sourcing cocaine from Latin American nations such as Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, and Mexico, distributing it to college students, professionals, and wealthy businessmen in Delhi and Mumbai.
A task force, led by Additional CP (Special Cell) Pramod Singh Kushwaha, spent over three months meticulously monitoring the gang’s operations and movements.
“On October 1, the team received specific intelligence about a large consignment of drugs at a warehouse linked to Tushar Goyal, a key intermediary. Following this, officers seized the cocaine, along with 40 kilograms of hydroponic marijuana valued at Rs 2.5 crore,” Kushwaha stated
