Traffic snarls in parts of south Delhi due to religious procession

NEW DELHI: Traffic snarls were reported from parts of South Delhi due to processions by devotees of the

Radha Soami

Satsang. Traffic police has issued an advisory asking people avoid the roads around the areas.

According to the advisory, traffic will remain heavy at

Mehrauli

, Aurbindo Marg, Bhati Mines, M.G Road and 100 feet road

Vasant Kunj

due to Radha Soami Satsang programme.

Deployments were also increased around the venue of the program organised by the Radha Soami Satsang Beas at Fatehpur Beri area.

Jams were reported from the Andheria More, Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road, Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, especially the stretch between Lado Sarai and Khanpur, and the road near IIT-Delhi.
