new delhi : the delhi unit of the bjp has requested all market and trader associations of the capital to keep their establishments closed on friday to protest against the recent killings in kashmir. senior bjp leader and party mp madan lal khurana said the bandh call is being supported by the vhp and the rss also. ``we feel all major markets and industrial areas of the city will remain closed on friday. several trade organisations have already assured their support,''khurana added. the confederation of all india traders, an apex body of 200 trade organisations, has also decided to support the delhi bandh. the general secretary of the cait, praveen khandelwal urged the government to ensure proper safety of amarnath pilgrims.
