The accused — identified as Dev Rajput, Anurag Shood (19) and Aniket Sharma (22) — were residents of Badli village.

Acting on a tip-off regarding a murder in the Samaypur Badli area, a police team on Monday reached Deepali Chowk in Rani Bagh and nabbed the three accused, PTI quoted deputy commissioner of police (Outer) Harendra Kumar Singh as saying.

The accused revealed that they stabbed one Vikki to death on Friday.

Rajput restrained the victim from behind while Sharma stabbed him in the face, chest and stomach, he said.

Rajput told the police that he had borrowed money from Vikki and was asked several times to return it.

He planned the killing with Shood and Sharma to get rid of Vikki.
