New Delhi: Three businessmen were detained for their alleged involvement in celebratory firing at a birthday party at a farmhouse in outer Delhiās Siraspur. A total of 27 empty cartridges of 7.65 mm were seized from the spot, police said.
According to the police, a PCR call about the firing was received around 11.35 pm on Tuesday at the Bhalswa Dairy police station.
Further search led to the seizure of one semi-automatic pistol with three live cartridges, one country-made pistol, one air gun with four dummy cartridges, 19 live cartridges of 32 bore, two live cartridges of 12 bore and one empty magazine. Liquor bottles, beer cans and flavoured hookahs were also found, police said.
The farm owner, identified as
Dilbagh Singh (50), along with associates
Himanshu Rana (27) and Manish Jangra (29), were detained.
