Kanpur resident Akshay Singh, who has a prosthetic leg, is riding from Kanpur to Delhi with an aim to break the Guinness World Record "Longest Distance on Bike" with an artificial limb. He started his journey on August 25 from Kanpur and reached Delhi on August 29. Total time allocated from Guinness was 7 days whereas he finished this ride in just 4 days.

Akshay is riding with the Cawnpore Riders cycling club for his daily rides and doing his endurance rides with Kanpur Randonneurs.

“I am thankful to

Greater Noida

Cycling Club as well who supported me for the ride along with my hometown clubs. I believe the only way to fight weakness is with strength,” says Akshay.
