NEW DELHI: Delhi Police’s
Special Cell
has solved the last week’s sensational murder of a nurse near Mundka metro station, and has arrested one of the shooters.
According to the police, the mastermind of the murder was the deceased’s son-in-law, a notorious criminal, who was having a dispute with the deceased. He had accused the woman of terminating his wife’s pregnancy twice and also forcing her to leave his house and file for divorce.
A team led by ACP
Lalit Mohan Negi and
Hriday Bhushan
nabbed the shooter, Ujjwal Dabas, from Ladpur in Kanjhawala. He spilled the beans on the murder. A probe revealed that Dabas had also tried to kill the sarpanch of the village for refusing to pay extortion money.
