Snatcher gang busted in east Delhi

A gang involved in more than 150 cases of snatching and robberies across east Delhi in the past two months has been busted from Kalyanpuri. Police said that the gang stole high-speed KTM bikes as a getaway vehicle to avoid pilice.

NEW DELHI: A gang involved in more than 150 cases of snatching and robberies across east Delhi in the past two months has been busted from Kalyanpuri. Police said that the gang stole high-speed KTM bikes as a getaway vehicle to avoid pilice.
DCP (east) Jasmeet Singh said that a team was formed to track down criminals after a spate of snatching incidents in east Delhi.

The men, Aman
(19), Mohsin (31) were caught while trying to sell off some stolen gold ornaments to a jeweller, Nitin Verma (37). Verma was also arrested. Police also seized Rs 40,000 and the stolen jewellery from them.
Aman and Mohsin told the cops that they had stolen three KTM bikes from east Delhi and would use them in turns to avoid getting caught even if they were spotted on CCTV cameras.
