NEW DELHI: Another accused was arrested on Saturday in connection with the gruesome lynching and murder that took place at the farmers' protest site in Kundli near Singhu border.
According to ANI, the accused, identified as Narayan Singh, was arrested by the Amritsar Rural Police from Rakh Devidass Pura in Amarkot village of Punjab.

This is the second arrest in the case, police said.

A man identified as Sarabjeet Singh was arrested on Friday and he has now been remanded to seven-day police custody.
On Friday, the body of one Lakhbir Singh (35) was found tied to a barricade at the Singhu border, with his left hand chopped off and both legs broken with a blunt object.
The deceased was a labourer from Tarn Taran in Punjab. He had arrived at the protest site about a week ago.

The accused Sarabjeet Singh, who was seen in blue robes of the Sikhs' Nihang order, said that he had "punished" the victim for allegedly desecrating a Sikh holy book and committing sacrilege.
A case of murder has been registered at the Kundli police station in Sonipat in connection with the lynching incident.
