Rohan Mehra visited Delhi on a promotional event for their upcoming movie 'Baazaar'. The film directed by Gauravv K. Chawla and written by Nikkhil Advani is all set to release on 26 October 2018, also stars Chitrangada Singh. Talking about his character in the film,
Saif Ali Khan says, "I'm playing a rich Gujarati businessman, who is very proud of himself and is a bit aggressive in nature.
Gande pani ka shark hai, in financial terms, we can call him a corporate raider. He is only interested in making profits and doesn't really care about the company, his only interest is in making money. Ek capitalist financial system mein aise bhaut se log hai. Bhaut hi khatarnak aadmi hai. But I think it's one of the best roles that I have essayed till now, and I really enjoyed playing it."
When debutant Rohan Mehra was asked to recall one of his favourite moments while shooting for 'Baazaar', the actor said, "I had many good moments on the sets of the film but meeting the cast members for the first time will always remain a special memory for me."
"I really wanted to experience what it is to be in a film like 'Baazaar'," says Radhika Apte. Talking about her character, Radhika tells us, "Priya is a very ambitious girl and for her the tagline of the movie - 'Bada Aadmi banna hai, toh line cross karni hogi,' means what are you ready to let go to up your game in the stock market business. I think I haven't done a mainstream conventional and a glamorous role before 'Baazaar'. There's a lot of emphasis on the look, the styling and the glamour quotient of the character. I actually really enjoyed it and I think it's hard work to do that and sort of combine that with your content."

Rohan Mehra"'Baazaar' is a tale of good and evil," says Saif Ali Khan. "I've never come across a script that looks at something like this, you know, like, what does money mean to different people and how you have to be careful what you dream for because it might not be what you think," adds the actor.
Debutant Rohan Mehra talks about his approach towards his character Rizwan Ahmed, he says,"For this particular character the first part was understanding who this guy was, how he moved, where he is from and what are the people around him like? Which is great, you know, you then form the image of the character. Second and the more important part for me was who this guy really is inside, what are his aims and why he wants to do what he wants to do, why he wants to come to Bombay and you know if I could answer those questions and portray that, it becomes a much more universal character that anyone in the world can relate to perhaps, not just someone from Allahabad."
Radhika Apte is known for the diverse roles that she has done in the past, and one lesson that such roles has taught her is empathy, she says, "you know you have to play parts which probably resemble people that you don't appreciate in your real life and then you have to play them convincingly and actually step into their shoes. I think it taught me empathy, it's teaching me how not to be upset and angry with people and understand where people come from and let them be. I think that's what is happening at a personal level for me."
