NEW DELHI: Delhi Police claimed to have solved the daylight robbery of Rs 44 lakh, which was reported in northwest district on Monday.

NEW DELHI: With the arrest of three persons the Delhi Police claimed to have solved the daylight robbery of Rs 44 lakh, which was reported in northwest district on Monday. One of the accused is a employee of the businessman who had lodged the report.
Sushil Dahiya (21), the police said, was also the mastermind behind the robbery. He convinced his associates, Asif (21) and Babuddin (26) to commit the robbery.

Dahiya was also the source of information for his associates.
Deputy commissioner of police (northwest) Sanjay Singh said: "He provided them details about the route which they were scheduled to take and the time when they would withdraw money from the account."
The police said that Dahiya worked as an assistant in the company, Amitabh Enterprises. He used to assist the employees who went to the bank to withdraw money.
