NEW DELHI: An FIR has been lodged regarding the blast that occurred on Sunday morning outside the CRPF Public School in Sector 14, Rohini, northwest Delhi. The explosion caused damage to the school's boundary wall, shattered the glass panes of a nearby car, and affected several shops in the vicinity.

The FIR states, "A hole in the school's boundary wall is evident, caused by the blast. Additionally, window panes and signboards of the shops opposite the CRPF school were damaged due to the impact. During the inspection, white powder was found scattered near the site. The area was immediately cordoned off, and senior officers were informed. Several teams, including the crime team from Rohini District, FSL Rohini, BDT, NDRF, NSG, the Fire Department, and SWAT, arrived at the scene for further investigation."


Shocking CCTV footage

Delhi Police have seized CCTV DVRs from nearby areas and markets. Sources indicate that two suspicious men were seen near the blast site, though their involvement is still under investigation.

In the footage, a suspect wearing a white T-shirt is seen at the blast site the night before the explosion. Police believe the explosive was wrapped in a polythene bag and planted near the scene.

The police received a PCR call about the explosion at around 7.47am on Sunday, and officers quickly arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered a damaged school wall emitting a foul odor, shattered windows, and a damaged vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing as security officials continue to probe the case.
