New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia and Dr. BR Ambedkar University, Delhi will now allow joint supervision of PhD scholars and undertake collaborative research activities as part of a partnership between the central and state university. The two institutions signed a
MoU on Monday to formalise the collaboration.
The MoU was signed by Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, registrar, JMI, and Omkar Singh, registrar, AUD, in the presence of vice-chancellors Mazhar Asif and Anu Singh Lather.

The universities will undertake joint research projects, organise seminars, conferences and academic workshops, and collaborate on publishing books, monographs and seminar volumes.
The institutions will organise capacity-building programmes, facilitate exchange of faculty, staff and students, and share expertise in revising existing curricula to better respond to current industry demands. TNN
