Protesters gathered near Jaisalmer House and attempted to march towards the Congress headquarters on Akbar Road, voicing their discontent with Gandhi and his party.

Tejasvi Surya, national president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, addressed the protesters, emphasizing the need for a vigorous response.

"The way Rahul Gandhi accused the entire Hindu society of being violent, is an unpardonable offense. The Congress and Rahul Gandhi are repeat offenders and in the past, they tried to create a fake narrative of saffron terrorism."

BJP MPs Manoj Tiwari and Bansuri Swaraj, along with other senior party leaders, were also present during the demonstration. Tiwari criticized Gandhi and demanded accountability for his statements.

"Those who insult Hindus need to be given a befitting reply. He said Hindu society is violent. He may even say Hindus should be shot," Tiwari stated.

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva questioned Gandhi's remarks about Hindu violence by referencing the non-violent nature of Hindu actions.

"Unless Rahul Gandhi, a poll-time Hindu, apologizes, we will continue to protest," Sachdeva declared.

The protest was sparked by Gandhi's first speech as the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, where he accused the BJP of practicing violence and spreading hate.

His remarks led to significant backlash from the treasury benches, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Gandhi’s comments have since ignited widespread political debate and led to ongoing protests by BJP supporters.
