Poll camps for women voters

NEW DELHI: In a bid to raise the voting awareness among women, the election commission on Saturday organized various camps, cultural programmes and workshops in more than 200 locations in the city.
“Women’s Day is being used to organize activities to increase the participation of women in the electoral process,” chief nodal officer Ankur Garg said.The emphasis is on “areas where low turn out of women was seen in the last polls”.
