Police top slots shuffled

NEW DELHI: Some senior officers with Delhi Police were transferred on Friday evening. The DCP (New Delhi) Manoj Lall has been asked to take over as additional commissioner (general administration).
He will be succeeded by Anita Roy who was earlier DCP (security). DCP (central) Arvind Deep will take over as additional commissioner (PCR). He will be succeeded by M M Oberoi who was earlier DCP (security).
Chhaya Sharma, earlier DCP (departmental security cell), will now be addl DCP (central).K C Dwivedi, DCP (vigilance) has been moved to the crime against women (CAW) cell.
Dwivedi was the staff officer to former commissioner R S Gupta. His transfer is being seen as a fallout of the acrimony between Gupta and his successor K K Paul.
Arun Kampani, DCP (traffic) in the New Delhi range, will now take over as DCP (licensing). His predecessor G C Dwivedi will now serve as DCP (vigilance).
