NEW DELHI: Former Bihar MP Pappu Yadav's Jan Adhikar Chhatra Parishad (JACP) will be the latest entrant to the

Delhi University Students' Union

elections this year.


It is banking on the students from eastern Uttar Pradesh and western Bihar as, its leadership feels, other outfits like NSUI and ABVP do not care about the

Poorvanchali

students.

Zaid Khan, JACP's Delhi unit president, alleged the Poorvanchali students were handed a rough deal by these outfits. "Our concerns are never heard. We want to change that," said Khan, a graduate of DU's Zakir Husain Delhi College. JACP will field candidates for all four posts of the central panel.
