Naresh Goyal’s brother passes away

NEW DELHI: Jet Airways’s chairman Naresh Goyal’s elder brother Surinder Kumar Goyal passed away on Sunday. Surinder, 72, was a co-founder of Jet Air, the travel agency that Naresh Goyal and he started in 1974. Later when Naresh Goyal started Jet Airways in 1992, Surinder played a key role in the airline’s launch.
“Surinder was very closely associated with the travel agency and GSA part of the business.He was very actively working till some years back,” said a person who works closely with the Goyal brothers.
Surinder Goyal’s last rites will be conducted at Delhi's Nigambodh Ghat on Monday at 11.30 am.
