NEW DELHI: The Delhi unit of Bharatiya Janata Party welcomed some well-known social activists from the city's Muslim community into its fold on Sunday.
In a program organised at the state office in the presence of BJP's national vice-president and Delhi in-charge Shyam Jaju and Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta, Delhi secretary for Rashtriya Ulama Council and social worker Shahzad Ali, gynecologist Dr Mehreen and former AAP worker Tabassum Hussain, among others joined the party
Jaju said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not only given the slogan of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabha Vishwas but has also implemented it and the BJP government has given a new momentum to the development of the country by bringing every section, every community together.

Gupta claimed that it is clear that people of all religions have faith in the Modi government and that the BJP government is a government of the poor that fulfils the aspirations of 130 crore countrymen. He added that Centre's public welfare schemes do not focus on any religion or caste but give equal benefits all.
The Delhi president also claimed hat the BJP has never done any work on the basis of caste and religion and has worked to end the malpractice of the society.
