Mock drills in west, south Delhi

NEW DELHI: Security drills in west and south Delhi were conducted on Monday to check the preparedness of various agencies in the wake of a terrorist strike. The first "mock bomb blast" was reported from a gypsy in the Tilak Nagar main market in west Delhi in the afternoon.
A second such "blast" occurred at the entrance of an eatery in the Select Citywalk Mall in Saket, said a senior police officer.Various agencies, including local police, fire brigade , ambulance services and traffic police participated in the exercise.
