Meet this Delhi boy behind cricketers' hairstyles

What’s common between Yuzvendra Chahal, Rishabh Pant, Tim Southee and David Miller’s hairstyles? It’s Delhi-based Rashid, their hairstylist.
Rashid started his career in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor, UP, and there is where he learned and practised hairstyling in initial days of career. He moved to Delhi in 2011 has been working with a chain of salons as a senior hair stylist.
Rashid is best known for styling popular players like Rishabh Pant, Nitish Rana, Yuzvendra Chahal, Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw during the last IPL season.His list of clients also includes international players like David Miller, Tim Southee, Stephen Fleming, Sam Billings, and Fad Du Plessis.

During the last IPL season, Rashid’s Instagram account grew from 300 followers to 14,500 followers. “My looks vibrant and flashy but it really is a lot of effort. The fame comes after a lot of perseverance. On some days, I work late till midnight but I love what I do and seeing my clients happy keeps me going,” Rashid said.
