“They fell from the gap between the two carriageways. Some beautification work was under progress on the road and one of them fell on the scaffolding rods that were kept there. He died on the spot,” a police officer said.
Police said they are investigating whether their bike was hit by any vehicle, due to which they lost control and fell off the flyover. “Meena is still undergoing treatment and not fit for statement. Inquiry has revealed that they were going to Trilokpuri when they met with the accident. We are scanning CCTV footage from the nearby area to find out how the accident took place,” the officer added.
