Man kills wife in Patel Ngr

NEW DELHI: A 45-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband in central Delhi's Patel Nagar on Monday on suspicion of having an illicit affair.
The accused, identified as Radhe Shyam, has been arrested. Shyam, a native of UP, lives in Patel Nagar and works as a labourer.
Police said they received a PCR call about the incident on Monday. "A year ago, the husband and wife were working at a construction site in Ghaziabad, where the woman met Neeraj, and they became friends," an officer said.
It allegedly led to arguments between the husband and wife.They later shifted to Patel Nagar and started working at another construction site.
On Monday, Shyam and Neeraj allegedly had an argument while drinking liquor. Shyam allegedly took an iron rod and hit his wife, and Neeraj fled the scene. Cops reached the spot and nabbed the accused.
