Man injured in firing incident

New Delhi: A 26-year-old man was critically wounded when a gang of three assailants opened fire at him in Malviya Nagar on Tuesday night. The trio came in a vehicle and shot at Vikas."Around 9.30 pm, a call was made to the police station in Malviya Nagar. The caller, Rahul, a resident of Kalu Sarai, alleged that three individuals in a car had fired at his nephew, Vikas. The attackers then fled the scene, abandoning their vehicle. A live cartridge, an empty cartridge and the abandoned vehicle were seized from the spot later," a police officer said.Cops suspected that a monetary dispute led to the incident. Further probe is on.
