According to Madan Mohan, Anubhav got his phone number from a colleague about four months ago. “He began calling us at odd hours asking for a job interview. At first, we thought his intentions were genuine. However, he tried to enter our Geeta Colony home. When we told him he cannot be part of our family, he threatened to kidnap my wife.”
When the family approached police on January 29, the investigator became his new target. “He began calling my family members and those on my phone list. He started making calls as early as 4am and sometimes made 35 calls within 40 minutes,” the officer said.
