Man held for raping one-year-old in north Delhi

NEW DELHI: A one-year-old girl was allegedly raped near a railway track in north Delhi. Police said that the accused has been arrested.
According to a senior police officer, the girl had been missing from her house since Friday night and after a hunt for her the entire night, her parents approached the cops after which a missing complaint was registered and several teams were formed to nab the accused.
The CCTV cameras of the area were scanned after which one person was identified and caught during raids thereafter, later on Saturday. He was identified as Amit (24).
Police said that the past records of the accused is being scanned and the girl is said to be stable presently.
