NEW DELHI: A 22-year-old man was found dead near Swarnkar Dharamshala in northeast Delhi's Kailash Colony on Friday morning, an official said.
Police were alerted about an unidentified body through a call at 9:54 am at Jyoti Nagar police station.
Upon receiving the information, a police team arrived at the location, accompanied by forensic specialists and a mobile crime unit to examine the site, according to police officials.
Subsequently, the body was transported to GTB Hospital for postmortem examination, and authorities have registered a case.
"Teams are working to establish the victim's identity and determine the cause of death.
Teams are also examining CCTV footage from nearby areas. Further investigation is underway," the official added.
