Man caught with fake cop ID card in Delhi

NEW DELHI: The police have apprehended a man who was posing as an officer in Tilak Marg. Police said the incident took place on August 14.
"A team was patrolling the area when they saw a suspicious car parked there. Two men were sitting inside," an officer said.
When asked about their IDs, one of them identified himself as Sajjad Ali and claimed he was from Delhi Police.He also showed an identity card. "While checking the ID, cops found that in the gender column, it was written female. Later, he admitted he made the fake ID card," the cop said.
