NEW DELHI: A 63-year-old man fell to his death from the terrace of a private hospital in Delhi's Dwarka area, according to police reports on Saturday.
The deceased, a retired employee of the Delhi High Court, was receiving treatment for anxiety and stress at a hospital in the Mohan Garden locality.
The incident took place around 8pm on Friday. Police stated that the man went up to the fourth-floor terrace of the hospital and jumped off, in what is suspected to be a suicide.
He was immediately rushed to the emergency room, where medical authorities declared him dead. Law enforcement noted that no suicide note was found at the scene.
Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage and an inquest proceeding has been initiated, according to the police.
