One person has been arrested in connection with a credit card fraud. The Amar Colony police nabbed one Parvinder Singh after he was found cheating people by misusing their personal information.

NEW DELHI: One person has been arrested in connection with a credit card fraud. The Amar Colony police nabbed one Parvinder Singh after he was found cheating people by misusing their personal information. He fraudulently obtained credit cards by giving details of his targets, withdrew cash from ATMs and took loans against the cards, police said. He was helped by his associates in ferreting out the details of his victims.

The accused also took car loans from banks by providing forged documents, and thereafter, transferred vehicles in other people’s names. After getting the loan sanctioned, he never produced the vehicles for inspection. He was first arrested by the crime branch in 2001 and was later declared as a proclaimed offender in at least three cases of cheating.
