Yashpal Singh was arrested on Tuesday.
Singh, arrested under sections of rioting and fighting in public places, has been charged in both FIRs filed on Monday and Wednesday in connection with the violence. On Saturday, Om Sharma, another
lawyer
, was arrested.
Singh has been charged with rioting (IPC 147), being member of unlawful assembly (149), destruction of property (427) and causing hurt (323). He was granted bail later in the night.
Delhi police has added sections of rioting (IPC 147 and 149) to the original FIR lodged under IPC 160 (affray). Sources said IPC 394 (robbery) was also being added as phones were stolen and destroyed during the chaos.
Police are also seeking legal opinion to add IPC 354 and 509 (outraging women's modesty and molestation) based on the complaints of women journalists.
