kalra is among the prime accused in the match-fixing and so far the only one in police custody. based on his allegations against kumar, the police have served kumar with a notice to appear for questioning but he has so far evaded it on health grounds. his nephew and a spokesperson for the t-series company has, however, denied all the allegations against him. on the other front, the police are now busy compiling the various evidence they have to corroborate the taped conversation between south african captain hansie cronje and an indian national sanjeev chawla. police teams which went to the taj regency hotel in kochi and other taj group of hotels in mumbai and bangalore have also sent certain documents. ``these documents will be studied and sealed for evidence in the court,'' said an official. he said interpol has also been requested for a voice match and to verify the bank accounts of the accused. ``so far, we haven't asked for the physical presence of the south african captain,'' he said. rajesh kalra's custody ends on april 13 when the police will produce him before the court. it's unlikely the police will seek his further custody, said the official. he said the disclosures made by kalra will have to be verified in detail. ``while he has named several bookies, our focus right now is this particular series which was fixed,'' said the official.
