Khakhi locked in court battle

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal"><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">NEW DELHI: Film director Raj Kumar Santoshi''s multi-starred </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Khakhi </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">is in the thick of a legal battle before a Gurgaon court.Santoshi has sought criminal action against one Brijan Gaur, who claimed that Santoshi''s Amitabh Bachchan led box office hit was allegedly based on a story written by him. </span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">A Gurgaon civil court rejected Gaur''s plea to stay screening of the all out hit movie but the chief judicial magistrate admitted Santoshi''s counter complaint against Gaur for hearing.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">Satoshi camped in Delhi for three days awaiting recording of his statement by the CJM. During half an hour long proceedings, Santoshi got his statutory statement recorded claiming Rs 50 lakh compensation from Gaur for making "false" allegations of plagiarising against him and </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Khakhi</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">''s story writer Sridhar Raghavan.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">Santoshi''s counsel Vineet Dhanda said Raghavan''s statement would be recorded on August 14. Dhanda said Gaur did not submit the script of his alleged story which he claimed to have been plagiarised to produce </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Khakhi</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">. In the absence of any restrain order, there has been all round success for </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Khakhi</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:=""> starring Aishwaraya Rai, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan and some other actors, Dhanda claimed.</span></div> </div>
