Arvind Kejriwal accepted an invitation to the next edition of the
Karachi Literature Festival
on request from its founder
Ameena Saiyid
at an event held in Delhi on Saturday. He may travel for the same to
Pakistan next year.
Saiyid said she will send an official invitation to the event organised by Pakistan's Oxford University Press and
British Council
.
"I will definitely go there. We will learn from each other," Kejriwal said.
The Coalition, a three-day conference is being held at Talkatora stadium from Friday. It is a brainstorming session for students, artists, writers, musicians, producers, directors, events professionals, designers, actors, comedians, gamers and entrepreneurs, with a host of workshops, seminars and panel discussions to choose from. It has been organised by Vijay Nair-owned Only Much Louder, a management company for Indian music groups.
The CM's acceptance to the invite is a significant gesture as Kejriwal has not travelled to any country in official capacity since assuming power.
