Jeweller stabbed in Ghaziabad
Robbers in Ghaziabad stabbed a jeweller and looted cash and jewellery worth several lakh from his shop.
The incident occurred around 9.30 pm on Saturday night when jeweller Gautam Verma was shutting down his shop, they said. The injured was admitted to a local hospital.
"The jeweller was stabbed and they escaped with Rs 1.25 lakh cash and ornaments worth Rs 15 lakh," said Senior Superintendent of Police, Deepak Ratan.
This is the third case of dacoity in the last five days in the district.
