Jammu and Kashmir governor secretary's phone snatched

Two men on a bike targeted the personal secretary of Jammu and Kashmir governor in northwest Delhi's Paschim Vihar and took away his mobile phone. Police said they received a complaint on Friday from 43-year-old Virender Rana that his Apple iPhone 6 had been snatched by the men who came on a black Pulsar.

NEW DELHI: Two men on a bike targeted the personal secretary of Jammu and Kashmir governor in northwest Delhi's Paschim Vihar and took away his mobile phone.
Police said they received a complaint on Friday from 43-year-old Virender Rana that his Apple iPhone 6 had been snatched by the men who came on a black Pulsar. Rana also told the police that he worked as the private secretary of governor Satya Pal Malik.

A resident of Paschim Vihar, Rana said he was checking his phone at the intersection of Old Rohtak Road and Balveer Singh Marg when he was targeted.
The men came from the Punjabi Bagh side and their bike did not have any registration plate, he said. They fled towards Peera Garhi after snatching Rana's phone.
An FIR was registered under Section 356 (assault or use of criminal force during commission of crime) and 379 (theft) of IPC. Rana told the police that he can identify the snatchers as they were not wearing helmets.A police probe is on.
