NEW DELHI: Delhi chief minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday said her government aims to provide equal opportunities to all communities and recognise their contributions.
She made the remarks while addressing the Inter-State Brahmin Conference, organised by the Maithili Brahmin Sabha, Delhi Pradesh.
Gupta also referred to Lord Parashuram, stating that his teachings remind us that dharma is not only about personal conduct but also about our responsibility towards society.
"Only a united society can achieve true progress," she said.
According to PTI, the chief minister said the Brahmin community has long been a guiding force in society through its knowledge, culture, and faith.
She added that it is time for the city to accelerate its progress and become a modern, developed capital.
