Delhi: Headless body found near Khalsa college
NEW DELHI: There was panic in Delhi University’s
Cops said that the bag was found by a newspaper delivery boy during the early hours of Sunday on Mall Road going towards Khyber Pass. Subsequently, a PCR van came and unzipped the bag to find the torso of a man, with his legs bent and stuffed. The body was then taken to a nearby hospital and has been preserved in the mortuary for further examination.

Another vital clue recovered from the body is the tag of the shirt of the deceased. Cops said that the tag reads ‘Shakti Tailors — Nai wali gali — J-Nagar’. The information about the tailor shop and ‘J Nagar’ is being further cultivated to identify the deceased.
DNA and other biological samples of the deceased have been taken by the forensic experts to collect more information. Investigating officers suggested that the cuts on the body suggested that a sharp meat cleaver-like object was used by the accused to kill the man.
