Head constable suspended for raping minor

GHAZIABAD: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a police head constable, who was later suspended, a senior police officer said on Saturday.
Head constable Shyampal, who is related to the victim, went to her house, which is behind Sahibabad police station, on Friday and raped her, SSP L Ravikumar told reporters.
Shyampal has been suspended and a case has been registered at Sahibabad police station Friday night, he said.
A medical examination at MMC hospital in Ghaziabad confirmed that the girl had been raped.
SSP L Ravikumar has also issued an arrest warrant against accused Shyampal.
